Well, its been almost a week of time when Godzilla 2014 movie released on 16th May 2014 in India. I watched this movie on 18th May itself. Though the movie review writing has been delayed for some reasons. Anyway, Lets see what i found in this movie Godzilla. Its was a occasion to bring my parents to watch this movie. Initially they were denying to go for the Hollywood movie. But i wanted to show them this movie and found that this is coming in Hindi. It a different story all together when they come out from the movie theatre.
The First Godzilla with special effects released in 1998 and I became big fan of the character and the movie concept. The animation and special effect at that time was exceptional and it was certainly a movie to make an impact on the minds who loves the action, fantasy and dino characters. It was the great news to hear about the new series of Godzilla and it became the most awaited movie for me.
The movie came with different story and concept as compare to the 1998 movie. Godzilla become villain to Hero, though it is still Monster for humans though. When I was watching movie in 3D and realize that the effects were quite amazing and the screenplay has the best of it. The actors in the movie has done great job and found that the one Japanese guy has that one feeling about Godzilla who later on become hero instead of threat to the humans.
The other monsters opposing Godzilla were somewhat less impacting. The character of Godzilla in this movie is completely different than the Godzilla in the 1998 movie. Its more like a creature in the water living and somewhat crocodile effects. It was surprising that Godzilla has one extra power for the demolition like Dragon fire burst. Which ultimately makes Godzilla more stronger than the opposite monsters.
Movie revolves around the family and one Japanese doctor in the character play. The appearance of Godzilla in many scene has given heroic effects. Director Gareth Edwards tried to make the movie more realising in a scientific way. It has the best fight scenes but not the once’s like in the movie “Pacific Rim“. The radium effects on the Godzilla and other creatures in the movie get the extra touch of effectiveness to the special effects.
My parents liked the movie a lot. Its was my pleasure when to take my parents to such movies which are more different than the other typical Bollywood movies. I would recommend to go for this movie.
